Special needs & Accessibility

Introduction
My Heart:

I believe every story deserves to be captured with care, patience, and love. My goal is to create an environment where every client - including those with physical, developmental, or sensory differences - feels comfortable, understood, and celebrated.

Before Your Session
I encourage open communication before your session so I can best prepare. You can share any specific needs, sensitivities, or accommodations in your inquiry form or through a quick chat before your shoot. Some things we can plan together include:
Preferred session time (for quieter environments or best lighting conditions)
Adjusting session length for breaks or pacing
Choosing familiar or low-sensory locations
Suggestions for calming activities or comfort items
Guidance for visual, verbal, or sensory supports
My priority is creating a space where everyone feels seen and safe to be themselves.
During Your Session
I approach every session with gentleness, flexibility, and patience. If anyone needs time to warm up, rest, or regroup — that’s completely okay. I’ll follow your family’s pace and cues, capturing genuine connection over perfection.
I also:
Use calm, encouraging communication
Avoid flash or bright lighting if it’s uncomfortable
Offer visual or verbal cues to make posing simple
Can shoot from a distance if personal space is needed
Welcome all mobility aids, communication devices, or support persons

Accessibility & Locations
I’m happy to help you find the perfect accessible location- whether that means paved walkways, shaded areas, or minimal crowds. If you already have a location in mind, I’ll help assess accessibility and adjust accordingly.
If we’re shooting in your home, I’ll work with your layout, lighting, and comfort level to make it stress-free and natural.
